Beautifully Boho Style Steals Part II – The Living Room

Here for your second fix of bohemian-inspired interiors? We don ‘t think you’ll be disappointed. Today it’s all about your living space and how you could shake things up a bit for some hippy home vibes. We are a little obsessed with @our_happy_cabin at the moment (one of our favourite interior influencers) and we’re set on stealing their living room style for a snip of the cost. Here goes!

Wood paneled walls are not easy to create authentically, but imitation wallpaper can be just as effective. This cabin wood one for example is beautifully rustic and realistic and just £6.99 a metre! You can purchase it here from Lancashire wallpaper and paint.

The furniture in our inspo image is beautifully natural and simple, (though admittedly white sofas are never the most practical). Ikea is your best bet for a copy cat version, like this one (Ektorp) for just £249.

They also do an armchair for £175 and a footstool for £75. You could always cover it with a boho throw like this one from H&M Home to protect it from the inevitable.

The coffee table, which could also double up as an on-trend bench, can be bought from Ebay. Simply search ‘rustic wooden handmade bench’ from seller jenny731.

For the stool-come-plant stand in the corner we love this hand-carved piece, also from Ebay for just £18 with free P&P. Find it in the selection available from seller ‘handmade-group’ here.

La Redoute sell this beautiful high pile rug, which would be great in a large living space. It’s very similar to the one in our inspo pic and the good news is, it’s currently got 40% using the code CYBER. This makes it under £60! Be quick though, this offer runs out very soon!

A knitted pouffe is the perfect boho accessory and we’ve seen some in Home Sense very reasonably priced. Homescapes online also has this one for just £29.99.

Rattan furniture is taking the interior world  by storm right now and works perfectly in a boho style room. We love the Stockholm armchair from Ikea, but it is a little pricey at £179.

If you’re going to splash out, we’ve also fallen for this peacock style one from Maisons Du Monde for £178.50

For the ultimate simplicity when dressing your window, head to H&M Home where you will find these stunning white voile curtains for £17.99 a pair.

Don’t forget to adorn you walls with all things boho. A gallery wall like the one shown can be easily created. Use a mixture of framed prints, hanging planters, antlers, and animal skulls. Here’s a selection of our favourites…

Bohemian inspired prints are dominating at the moment, so go and have a gander. They’re priced from around £15 for a poster size.

These antlers are just £15 from Matalan online and are really great quality and a good size.

WHITE ISLAND ecru jute and macramé hanging planter

Both this hanging macramé planter and buffalo skull are from Maisons Du Monde – £15.79 and £44.39 respectively.

And what about this stunner from Etsy for around £15. Just in case anyone still wasn’t quite sure what trend you were going for and needed it spelling out.

We couldn’t go without reminding you about the fabulous range of boho style cushions available on La Redoute. Here are just a few of the ones on offer. Currently 40% off!

And if you haven’t already formed an addiction to H&M Home for cushions, what have you been playing at? Go there now!

Tune in on Friday for your third and final installment of boho mania, when we’ll be helping you plan your brand new boho dining space…
