IKEA Hack – Hair Pin Table `How To`
We are paying homage to Ikea founder Ingvar Kamprad this week, as the interior genius has sadly passed away at the ripe old age of 91.
He may have been controversial, but it’s thanks to him we have learnt to love flat pack furniture, bank holiday shopping madness and welcomed the Swedish meatball with open arms! We commemorate with another clever and thrifty IKEA hack, and it doesn’t get much simpler than this…
What you will need:
IKEA SKOGSTA chopping board £12
3 Hair Pin Legs in your choice of colour (£22.99 for 4 including delivery – Ebay Metal Bits )
What you need to do:
Turn the chopping board upside down, with the lipped edge facing down. Place the hair pin legs an equal distance apart, as shown the picture.
Drill 9 pilot holes to attach the 3 legs. Screw the screws provided with the hair pin legs into the wooden board.
Comprende or as the Swedes say “fullstandig.”

We would love to hear from you and share your homemade interior idea.
